What can I help with?

I have experiences dealing with many aspects of mental health. Below are some examples areas I can help with. Due to current demand I have now a female counsellor working along side me . Sara Whitehouse has an interest working with addictions , and wants to engage females into sport. This is a positive to add balance and diversity to Prevention to Intervention.

There are so many gaps in the services presently there are people isolated in the community , in North Lincolnshire these are the people who we are hoping will reach out to.

Please remember that we are not trained to help people who are in crisis - There are people who are specifically trained to deal with crisis including NHS Crisis Team, Police & CAMHS.

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Low self esteem

  • Trauma

  • OCD

  • Autism

  • Self harm

  • 1 to 1 Sport & Talk

In addition to private counselling sessions, I have availability to carry out talks and presentations in schools, work places and community groups.

How does it work?

After making initial contact, we will arrange a date for your session. We will travel to you in your chosen comfortable surroundings. WE will do a graded exposure so that you can feel at ease with me. We listen with empathy, putting ourselves in your shoes. Together we will develop strategies to help you gain perspective, deal with the negative feelings and overcome your current issues.

How much does it cost?

1 Hour | £30

It's so important that everyone can access support when they need it. By cutting out room costs, we are able to offer our sessions at £30 per hour.

Sport & Talk

Sport & Talk promotes positive mental health through a united love for football. Come along for a social kick about, I will always be available for a chat after too. I’m hoping Sport & Talk can reduce the stigma and open up new opportunities for communication. We have a diverse group of people going to sessions, we have now reduced the age to 12 and upwards.

I have seen a group of people become a team, with smiles on their faces. People feeling a part of something, I have seen such positivity.

We now have our first tournament Sunday 25th August at Doncaster Keepmoat stadium. There are 62 teams involved from different parts of the country.

Every Tuesday 5.30 till 6.30 at Premier pitches
